Orbiter & Rover
Orbiter & Rover is a new creator-owned entertainment company and games publisher. A partnership between Kinetic Energy Entertainment and Zachary Mortensen that incubates ideas into worlds, our goal is to inspire those who engage with our stories and play our worlds.
Space Hoppers – Singko Academy is the first card game created and published by Orbiter & Rover. It is a family friendly, action-packed romp across a sci-fi universe that will be available January 2024.
Wayside Press
Wayside Press is a video game studio founded by political journalist, author and humorist Eliot Nelson. Its first game, Political Arena, is a one-of-a-kind strategy/sim about American power where no two play-throughs are the same. Players create their own politician and seek fame or infamy in a fully simulated political world, complete with high stakes campaign strategizing, scandals, special interests, and the press.
So long as players can win reelection (and avoid impeachment or be forced to resign amidst a cloud of scandal), the path they chose is their own.
Shifting Tides
Shifting Tides is a creative studio and publisher that specializes in original cinematic stories and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in storytelling and the world of physical and digital formats, comics and book publishing. The core of Shifting Tides is powered by the artistry and talent of visionary creators, allowing for cutting-edge technologies and tools (including AI, game engines, XR, etc) to be embraced in a commitment to innovation and craft.
Shin Starry Kitchen
Nguyen Tran and his wife, Thi, started the restaurant Starry Kitchen out of their Los Angeles apartment in 2009. They exploded in popularity and continued to grow throughout Los Angeles led by their most famous dish, the Crispy Tofu Balls, and are now growing their presence in consumer packaged goods.
New Majority Ventures
New Majority Ventures is on a mission to celebrate, support and encourage people of color, women, immigrants, veterans and LGBTQ. The New Majority is an audience that over-indexes across all media – and yet is unseen and under-served. Committed to non-fiction storytelling and creative content that’s entertaining, authentic and inspirational, NMV launched with Founder Hustle, a podcast for entrepreneurs, and two spin-offs The Deep Cut and Porch Talks.
New Majority Ventures is a partnership between Melissa Bradley’s 1863 Ventures and Kinetic Energy Entertainment.
